Sunday Services

Our Sunday services are an opportunity for all our church family to come together. Each week we look to encounter God as we worship together as a church family.

I’ve never been before, can I come along? Absolutely. You can expect a warm welcome at MBC. Whether it’s your first time at a church or the thousandth we’d love for you to join with us as we discover together the amazing joy of knowing God.

What time does it start? The church meets every Sunday at 10:30 am.

Is there a dress code? No. Come in what you feel comfortable wearing.

Where do I sit? Anywhere, we don’t have reserved seating, so sit wherever you like.

Does it cost anything to attend? No. Although there will be a collection for the work of God through the church during the service, there is no obligation to give.

What happens during the service? We believe God is real and relevant to our lives so our worship reflects this. We look to meet with God and grow in our faith in our services.

We begin our services with all ages together and usually the children and young people leave for their Sunday school classes before the sermon. However at least once a month (usually the 1st Sunday) everyone of all ages stays in the church together. We have an exciting programme for young people from 3 – 14 years and a crèche for under 3s. For more information about what happens in the children’s work please visit the Sunday School page.

Our services include songs led by our band, prayers, Bible readings and teaching. We try to be contemporary and relevant so we’ll often incorporate a range of different media styles in our services. The contemporary style is reflected in our music which usually consists of modern songs which are occasionally mixed with older ‘classics’.

Once a month we share communion together. This is when we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. We all have bread (gluten free) and wine (fruit juice) to remind us of Jesus body and blood.

Occasionally we have a Baptism service. You can read more about baptism here.

After the service we have refreshments. This is a wonderful and important part of the morning as we spend time building up our relationships as a church family in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

If you have any questions about our Sunday Services or need to get in touch with us about any thing or have any questions we will be happy to help. Please visit the Contact Us page for more information.

Come and join us – we’d love to meet with you.
